10 weeks = 8 shots

Today was our 10 week check-up and to say we were in for a little surprise, is a bit of an understatement. After a routine weigh in and length measurement, we got the first of many shots. We had a total of four shots each...two in each thigh. Mommy and Daddy said we were pretty brave. Check out our cool Snoopy stickers!

Contributing to the weight increase is her new space pod. This baby does red-face crying to deep sleep in 3.2 seconds. Excellent work Mr. Arnold (aka Jack's Dad)... the "Queen" approves and has confirmed it for production.

Yep, Addison has doubled her weight since birth! Hip-hip...

Chloe's 1st cold

Last week Chloe had a fever... so we took a little trip to the ER. Not the best place to be at 4 in the morning. After a chest x-ray, snot sample, blood sample and pulse monitoring, they sent us home and told us what we already knew... Chloe has a cold. Glad you're feeling better little Chloe.

Chloe's 4wk check up...

Chloe started out as a little peanut but a month later she's gained 2 lbs and now wearing bigger diapers! YAY!!! Here's my Sis with Mommy after visiting the doctor.

Bath time!

My sister Addison got her first bath in the hospital. She didn't really like the washing part but she did like sitting in the tub. The nice nurse Mary, gave her a 50's do to finish it off. After the bath we passed out... baths make us sleepy.

Hospital Life

Life is good... at Hoag Hospital. We had so much fun hanging out with all the nurses and doctors. Everyone was so nice. I'll give you one guess what we did while we were there.

Double 8's, double girls. Everyone, we'd like you to meet Chloe 4lbs (middle photo) and Addison Hoover 5lbs 9oz (bottom photo). After a long night of waiting it's finally real... welcome to a whole new life. More pics to come... we're just getting started.

Today is Daddy's Birthday, and we want to send him a BIG wish for the best Birthday ever!!!! We love you and can't wait to meet you on our Birthday coming very soon!!!

We're still here...

Where have the posts gone? Well we've been a little busy... Here's before and during kitchen remodel. "After" will be coming next week. In other news... Grandma J is coming this weekend and we'll be here very soon to say hello to all!! Stay tuned.

Homeward Bound

Here'e our Pops working hard on the new house. He has been spending most of his free time getting the house ready for our arrival. He has also been spending a ton of time at some place called Lowe's...not so sure who or what that is...some kind of 'man stuff' as Daddy would say. Thanks for all of your hard work Daddy, we can't wait for our family to fill our new home!!!
