Our week with the Kaminers...

Last week we had our family out for a visit. Aunt Jen, Uncle Scott and our twin cousins, Lindsay and Lauren were here from Cincinnati, and we had such a fun time. We went to Downtown Disney, the beach, shopping, the Angels game, swimming and just had lots of fun hanging out. We really liked spending time with our twin cousins. We got to watch them get their hair done at a special place just for girls. We hope we can be as special and as cool as them someday! Thanks guys for coming out - miss you already!

Last weekend we had a party... well our parents and their friends had the party, we just heard everyone having fun and fussing over us. We'd like to thank all of our friends and family who attended and those who couldn't be there as well. And a special thank you to Nyk and Arlene for making it possible. It was such a beautiful day and a wonderful setting. Thanks again to all our buddies!

Handmade from the Far East

Our parent's friends, Brian and Annie from Hong Kong, recently sent us these two blankets. Annie made them by hand with chinese silk and then stitched "A" and "B" on each one. These blankets are definitely prized possesions of ours and we will keep them forever. Thank you both and we hope to have dim sum with you soon!

To the GREATEST Dad in the world:
We want to wish you a very special and Happy Father's Day! We want to thank you for taking such good care of Mommy and making sure we have everything we need to grow, grow, grow! We can hear you talk to us everyday, and love it when you rub Mommy's belly. In just a couple of months, we will get to not only hear you but SEE you, and we cannot wait (although we know you and Mommy need us to fatten up a bit, so we'll try to be patient). We love you very very much Daddy! We are the luckiest girls in the world! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!

The twins made us do it...

We had a family meeting and the condo just isn't our style. Mommy and Daddy liked the condo but we talked them into getting a bigger, roomier house so our Grandmas and Grandpas now have their own room!!! Thank you Mommy and Daddy for the new home... we love it!

Week 26

Baby 101

Last night Mommy and Daddy went to a "Baby Saver" class with our twin friends the Hiskeys. It was very good, we learned so much. I think Daddy got a little freaked out on the CPR choking part.

We found out these items may choke us:

Mother's Day at Grandma J's

Boy what a trip... Mommy and Daddy needed to make room in their bedroom (now our bedroom) so they swapped their king size bed with Grandma's queen. Since we rented a U-haul to move our bed, we decided we may as well move all of Daddy's shoes too. The ride there was really beautiful. We traveled through the desert and Mommy stopped to potty a few times (what's new) and WOW... was it hot out there! When we arrived, Grandma had lots of yummy food prepared - Mommy sure loved those deviled eggs. We mostly spent our weekend shopping and eating. Grandma had a great time spoiling us with lots of goodies. The best part for Mommy and Daddy was going through all of Daddy's stuff from when he was a little guy. Grandma gave us Daddy's first Cat in the Hat book from his Grandpa. We are also excited to get Daddy's mobile that was on his crib. It is very cool. It has lots of animals and is very colorful. Thanks for a great weekend Grandma J! See you soon!

Now it's official...

Jack sent us these COOL things today. They have more gadgets than Daddy's car. Jack also sent us cards explaining we will be spending a lot of time in them, whether we like it or not. He says we can nap, eat, play and even poop in these things! Wow, we can't wait. Thank you Jack, tell Mommy and Daddy thank you too!

Late Nights = Happy Twins

Friday Night was big for us. Mommy and Daddy were having such a good time that they let us stay up late. It has been a long time since our parents have seen 1:00 a.m. The fun started at dinner with Mike (apparently, also know as Brian to some people) and Rebecca (our twin buddies Mommy). We had so much fun talking about baby things, while our Daddies talked about skateboard stuff. The food was really yummy and we even had surprise chocolate cake! Mommy taught us already to thank people when they do thoughtful things. Thank you Rebecca, for sneaking that one. After dinner we heard that Red's Mommy and Daddy had made the drive down from Tinseltown. Also to join in the fun were our local Long Beach pals, Tara and Bobby. We all came back to our house and talked about...you guessed it, more baby stuff - girls in one room and boys in the other. Sounds like the two 'mommies-to-be' have a lot to get ready for...we can't wait to meet you all!!!

Today is Mommy's birthday and we heard Daddy talking about taking her out to dinner somewhere special. We want you to have a party like this one, can you pleeeeeease!!?? Because anyone with a party like that would have the best day ever!

Burnt Bagels and Firetrucks

After a long wait at the doctors office, the nurse finally called our Mom. We walked down the hall through the smell of smoldering bagels to room number 6. Our buddy Sheila, explained that somebody forgot their bagel in the toaster. It seemed like maybe room number 5 was up in flames - it was that smokey. As far as our check-up, everything is a-okay. We even got to be on TV so Mom and Dad could see us. We like to be on TV, it makes everyone happy! Our next visit is Mother's Day weekend, just for our Mommy! As we were walking out of the doctors office we got to hear our first Firetrucks. Wow, those things are loud... but boy are they cool. We think they were there for the bagels.

Mom and Dad went shopping today and brought us back each a cool outift from Baby Gap. We are both wondering if they'll fit after our Trader Joe's shopping bonanza! Only time will tell. If we're lucky Mommy will stitch something on them.

I came home from work today and someone was putting the finishing touches on her first custom baby onesie. More to come...

Belly Pats and Little Kicks

So the other day I was at the grocery store and received my very first 'belly pat' from a total stranger. One would think that this may be an akward moment...like their space has been invaded. But to me it was a reminder that our little peanuts are getting bigger and preparing to meet the world . I've even felt a few kicks over the past week...more like little flutters. And Hubby has even felt a kick or two...absolutely amazing.
